If you prefer some romantic instead, we recommend a cosy horse-drawn carriage ride.

In a few minutes to the Seiser Alm cableway – the door to the Dolomites

Use the comfortable public transport to reach in a few minutes the valley station of the modern cableway to the Seiser Alm. The bus stop is just 500 metres away from the house door.

The Ski area Seiser Alm is very family friendly, most of the slopes are easy or moderately difficult and very sunny.

Pre-Christmas time in South Tyrol

On the other side of the ski slopes on the Seiser Alm and in the area surrounding Kastelruth various activities are waiting for you. You will find a really pleasant atmosphere during the advent season, when we are binding our own advent wreath at the farm and in every home someone is baking biscuits, when St. Nikolaus with his angels and krampuses  are going to visit all children and the Christmas markets are opening all around South Tyrol. You only have the choice between small markets in the towns and the bigger ones in the cities. Everywhere smells of cinnamon and hot mulled wine, baked biscuits, and roast chestnuts. Experience tradition – let us taste typical South Tyrolean delicacies, listen to sound of the trumpets und alpenhorns, admire the works of art made according to tradition and the many Christmas decorations like the painted Christmas balls and beeswax candles.

If you are in the mood for ice skating there is a small ice-skating rink in the village square of Seis am Schlern. Alternatively, you have the possibility to ice skate on the frozen surface of the Völser Weiher lake too.
