Spring awakening around Seis am Schlern
During the spring you can see breath-taking contrasts in the south Tyrolean mountain world. Thanks to the warm sun strays the nature in Seis am Schlern and Kastelruth awakes from hibernation and the meadows are aglow with fresh green colours, in the meanwhile the Ski area on the Seiser Alm and in Val Gardena/Gröder are still covered in snow and open until the middle of April.
Holidays in the spring at our farm at foot of the Seiser Alm are very varied
Give all you have got on the slopes for some days and then enjoy the quiet and the singing birds at the farm. In April the meadows are getting greener and greener, the first flowers blossom, butterflies fly above the meadows, bees are dancing from a flower to the next and the swallows begin to build their nest close to the barn’s roof. The dandelions on the meadows are worth to be admired. Our pear and plum trees are aglow with their white flower dress, while the big old apple tree enchants at the beginning of May with its pink flowers and its scent.
Hiking and walking trails are mostly free of snow and in addition you are not going to meet many people on your way, so you can feel the nature and its strength even more intensively.
